                                    What is Listening Prayer?


  
Listening prayer is the practice of the Presence of God under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
 

  • It is listening to God and thinking His thoughts
    with Him.

  • It is the finding of God’s will and viewpoint and the
    discovering of His specific truth.

  • It is giving God the opportunity to speak into
    our spirits, our hearts and our lives.

  • It is being guided by the Spirit of Truth rather
    than our own interpretations or presumptions.

  • It is responding to God’s revelation of truth in
    faith and obedience.

  • It is the pursuit of knowing God:   
        
     - His wisdom   
     - His character
     - His truth
     - His love


 
"The sheep follow Him because they know His Voice" (John 10:4).
